The College of Health Sciences has a variety of academic centers and institutes. They draw on expertise from across the university on specialized or interdisciplinary issues.

Center for Applied Psychology

The Center for Applied Psychology (CAP) is the training clinic of the 黑料视频 PsyD program, offering PsyD students the opportunity to master their clinical skills while providing real-time services to residents of Indiana County and the 黑料视频 community under the expert supervision of the CAP’s licensed supervisors. The CAP runs three clinics year-round: a Family and Child Clinic, an Adult Therapy Clinic, and an Assessment Clinic. Within their training at CAP, students can choose between conducting therapy or assessment, or both, with a range of client ages and presenting concerns.

Institute for Rural Health and Safety

The Institute for Rural Health and Safety brings together university personnel from various disciplines and professional backgrounds to solve problems related to highway traffic safety. It provides driver education and improvement programs and first responder and emergency response team training.

Nutrition Connection

The purpose of Nutrition Connection is to provide preprofessional training in nutrition intervention to junior and senior dietetics majors and graduate dietitian-nutritionist students while providing the 黑料视频 community with information about nutrition for a variety of personal concerns. The overall goal of Nutrition Connection is to promote healthy eating and body weight, with nutrition recommendations tailored to meet individual needs, preferences, and goals.

Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic

The mission of the 黑料视频 Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic is to provide the highest quality services in collaboration with community providers. Faculty supervisors support students as they translate evidence-based knowledge into clinical practice while also ensuring that patient care is culturally and linguistically sensitive. We align the mission and goals of our clinic with the 黑料视频 Speech-Language Pathology Program’s mission and vision, the university’s strategic plan, and the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association’s code of ethics.
